The Civil Service Commission (CSC) revealed the outcomes of the August 20, 2023, civil service exam, also known as the career service examination – paper and pencil test (CSE-PPT), on Friday, November 3, 2023. The comprehensive listing of successful candidates who passed the professional-level exam in Region 10 (Northern Mindanao) will be made available on this platform as soon as it is released by the CSC. The publication of these results marks the recognition of individuals who demonstrated their proficiency and competence in pursuing roles within the civil service, showcasing their dedication and capabilities.
According to the CSC, a significant total of 345,293 examinees out of 373,638 registered individuals participated in the CSE-PPT on August 20, 2023, accounting for 92.41% of the total registered candidates across 95 testing centers nationwide. Among them, 304,247 individuals undertook the CSE-Professional Level, while 41,046 candidates took the Subprofessional Level exam, reflecting the substantial turnout and commitment of individuals seeking career opportunities within the civil service.

The career service examination is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80-percent.
Passing the career service examinations would result in the conferment of either Professional or Sub-professional Eligibility that is needed, among others, for permanent appointment to corresponding career service positions in the government except those that involve practice of profession or are covered by special laws.
