Anticipation is building as the architectural community awaits the release of the official results for the January 2024 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, or within three working days post-exam. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Architecture (BoA) meticulously conducted the licensure exam in various key locations, including Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, on January 24 and 26, 2024.
Aside from the full list of passers, the announcement is highly anticipated for the revelation of the top 10 achievers (topnotchers), insights into top-performing schools, and an assessment of the overall performance of schools. This momentous occasion serves not only as a milestone for individual candidates but also as a benchmark for the academic institutions that contribute to the growth and excellence of the architectural profession in the Philippines.

The Board of Architecture, responsible for conducting the licensure exam, is led by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac, alongside two other esteemed members, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
The comprehensive two-day examination encompassed a range of subjects, including history and theory of architecture, principle of planning and architecture practice, utilities systems, structural conceptualization, and building materials and construction (Day 1). The second day of the exam focused on architectural design and site planning.
RESULTS RELEASE
Following PRC Resolution No. 1728 s. 2023, the expected release date for the Architect board exam results is Wednesday, January 31, 2024, or within three (3) working days post-examination. It’s important to note that results may be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.
