In spite of the combined effects of the shear line and a low pressure region, the Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao might well experience cloudy skies and rainfall, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

 Pagasa also stated, the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” is bringing rain to Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro.
