According to AGB Nielsen, here are the highest-rated television series of the Kapamilya network:
- ESPERANZA
This is Judy Ann Santos’ project after the success of her Mara Clara. She plays the titular role and she’s with Wowie De Guzman in this series. The highest rating it recorded is 67.0% in 1997 as it aired from February 17, 1997 to July 30, 1999. - PANGAKO SA ‘YO
Starring Kristine Hermosa, Jericho Rosales, Eula Valdes, Jean Garcia, and among others, this series has been among the most unforgettable. It has been on air from November 13, 2000 to September 20, 2002 with their all-time high rating at 64.9% recorded in 2002. It was also shown in countries such as China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, and Uganda. - MULA SA PUSO
With their highest rating at 53.7% recorded in 1997, the iconic characters of Via, Gabriel, and Michael were portrayed respectively byClaudine Barretto, Rico Yan, and Diether Ocampo. It was aired on March 10, 1997 to April 9, 1999. - BASTA’T KASAMA KITA
This is the first ever action-drama series of ABS-CBN which featured Judy Ann Santos and Robin Padilla playing the lead roles. Its highest rating is 52.5% and been on air from May 26, 2003 to September 10, 2004. - MARINA
This is the first series to have coined the term “fantaserye” featuring Claudine Barretto playing a mermaid role. This is the program that holds 26th spot in the list of highest-rating Filipino TV shows of all time. They have recorded 50.8% as their highest rating in 2004. - SANA’Y WALA NANG WAKAS
After Pangako Sa ‘Yo, this is a follow-up project for Kristine Hermosa - and Jericho Rosales along with other stars such as Angelika dela Cruz and Diether Ocampo. They had their highest rating at 49.3% recorded in 2003. As per PEP, it’s been aired for more than a year from May 19, 2003 to July 9, 2004.
