As to recall, President Duterte has been vocal to the public discussing his sentiment and grievances against the network for not airing his commercial campaign during the presidential race. Few months before the ABS-CBN franchise will expire on May 4, 2020, President Duterte hinted that the management may consider to sell the TV network that has been more than 65 years in the service to the Filipino until today. That was the time that Chairman at Chelsea Logistics Holdings Corp., and Independent Director at Apex Mining Co., Inc entered into the scenario.

However, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Udenna Corporation Dennis Uy clarifies that he is not interested to buy the ABS-CBN Kapamilya Network noting that the business is not on their corporate direction and he believes that the ABS-CBN management is able to settle the problem and continue its mission of serving the Filipinos.
