The Philippines has 284 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases as of April 13, 2020

The Department of Health confirmed a total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, it said that it increased by 284 as of today, April 13, 2020.

In China, they recorded the infections in over 81,000 and the coronavirus has claimed over 3,300 lives. So far, the Chinese community was now recovering from the disease, however the other countries were still fighting against COVID-19.

Based on the recent report of the Department of Health (DOH), the Philippine coronavirus cases increased by 284 as of today, April 13, 2020, and brings the total count to 4,932.

According to DOH, 45 patients have recovered from the disease and there are a total of 242 recoveries, while the death toll is now at 315 and 18 new deaths recorded.

Coronavirus disease was first recorded in China where it prompted authorities to lock down Wuhan due to its outbreak.

In the Philippines, local government units are now decided to enforce an enhanced community quarantine. The enhanced community quarantine was extended up to the 30th day of April.

Visayas and Mindanao provinces are also implementing an Enhanced Community Quarantine to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
