FULL LIST: 16 Areas in Quezon have no Electricity Supply

Sixteen areas in Quezon province remain without power as a result of the effects of Typhoon Paeng.

According to Quezon PNP and PDRRMO monitoring, the areas of Gumaca, Infanta, Unisan, Catanauan,, Calauag, Macalelon, Panukulan, Jomalig, Alabat, Pitogo, Perez, Sampaloc, General Luna, Polillo, Gen Nakar, and San Antonio are among those without electricity power.

This is caused by damage to the town’s power lines and poles.

Meanwhile, 4,397 households, totaling 22,471 people, are being housed in evacuation centers across 22 towns in Quezon.

Mulanay had the highest number of evacuees, with 2,996 families and 11,512 people.

The majority of evacuees in the province are from the seashore, riverbanks, and landslide and flood-prone places.

Numerous areas have also been flooded, which include Mauban and Lopez.

Local disaster personnel are actively monitoring the rivers, especially the Iyam and Dumaca in Lucena City and the Anoling in General Nakar, which have risen above the 3.00 meter critical level.
