Alex, meantime, is among the most popular vloggers in the country in addition to being an actress and host.

She moved to TV5 and was given the job of hosting LOL, the noontime program that started in October 2020, following ABS-CBN was shut down since they were unable to find a new franchise.

Cristy Fermin already announced that Lunch Out Loud, the noontime program she presently hosts with Kapatid presenter Alex Gonzaga, is leaving.

In her showbiz vlog “Showbiz Now Na,” Fermin stated that “Nag-resign na si Alex Gonzaga sa Lunch Out Loud.”

The seasoned entertainment journalist said that personal concerns like future plans for a baby were one of the reasons. Fermin said that her doctor had instructed her to go slowly.

Additional point is that It’s Showtime is aired on the Kapatid channel immediately following their show.

According to PEP, Alex denied resigning in the most latest episode.

She was jokingly questioned about the allegations of her resignation and the “pagpipirata” rumors by her co-hosts as a response, but she made no direct comments.

One of the presenters of the noontime program, Bayani Agbayani, also denied this. He responded, “Hahaha! Hindi. Dito pa din siya sa TROPANG LOL,” based on a report.
