The two of the biggest Korean drama Oppas, Park Seo Joon and Hyun Bin, are among the nominees for the “Best Actor” Award category for the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Based on the report from Soompi, they revealed the nominees for several categories for Korean films and series.
Best Actor
- Kang Ha Neul – KBS2 “When the Camellia Blooms”
- Namgoong Min – SBS “Stove League”
- Park Seo Joon – JTBC “Itaewon Class”
- Joo Ji Hoon – SBS “Hyena”
- Hyun Bin – tvN “Crash Landing on You”
Best Actress
- Gong Hyo Jin – KBS2 “When the Camellia Blooms”
- Kim Hye Soo – SBS “Hyena”
- Kim Hee Ae – JTBC “The World of the Married”
- Son Ye Rin – tvN “Crash Landing on You”
- IU – tvN “Hotel Del Luna”
In case you’re out of the K-drama loop, Hyun Bin is widely known today for his role as Captain Ri in hit Korean series entitled “Crash Landing On You.“
And Park Seo Joon had recently portrayed the lead role as Park Saeroyi in another K-drama hit series titled “Itaewon Class.“
Moreover, the two K-drama series became a big hit on Netflix and other K-drama apps, especially in the Philippines.
Also, one of the biggest Korean stars that is one of the nominees for the “Best Actress” category is IU, for her role in one of the Korean hit series “Hotel Del Luna“. IU just recently released her newest single titled “Eight”.
She’s up against four other actresses. That includes Son Ye Jin, who portrayed Yoon Seri in “Crash Landing On You.”
