A security guard’s wife uses his husbands identity and posted a threat to President Duterte in social media wherein he criticized Duterte in her post.
Her husband, a security guard was supposed to be arrested when his picture went viral on Facebook with a caption insisting on a fight and to kill President Rodrigo Duterte. The husband was shocked after he found out who was behind it. It was his wife who was angry with him.
“Duterte… mamamatay tao ka, kriminal, pinasara mo pa ABS-CBN. Hayop ka, ‘wag ka magtago sa Malacañang. Lumabas ka, suntukan tayo. Babasagin ko mukha mo. Papatayin kita,” written on the post.
Due to this post, Cybercrime Division personnel of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) searched the man until they could find him. However, he apparently did not create such an account.
Based on the report, the post was shown to be a fake account using the photo and name of the security guard. He said he was nervous because many people were angry with him and threatened his life.
He also clarified that the viral photo of him doing dirty finger was posted last 2016 and it was just combined with the President’s image with the caption of threatening the President.
On the entrapment operation of the authorities, they found out the real owner of the fake account was the former’s wife of the security guard. The woman was hidden under the name of Shirley.
The authorities arrested Shirley, the suspect admitted the sin and said that she just did that to get revenge to her ex-husband because of leaving her.
However, Shirley apologize to the president and said that it was not her intention to include him in their problem. Shirley faces charges of identity theft and grave threats.
