President Duterte called the human rights lawyer Chel Diokno “lousy lawyer” on national television.

On Friday, April 3, President Rodrigo Duterte had his nations addressed regarding the health crisis brought by the pandemic Coronavirus Disease.

One of his speeches is about the human rights lawyer Chel Diokno wherein he lambasted the lawyer. 

Based on some reports, Diokno is encouraging the public to break the law and commit violations amid this difficult time in the country.

Because of that, Duterte loses temper and tell Diokno, “Letche ka, galit ako sa’yo, ulol ka!”

According to the President, Diokno was a lousy lawyer. And told him that he is nothing compared to his father.

Recalling on way back 2016, Duterte tells the lawyer during elections that, “Problema sa’yo, ‘pag nagsalita ka, ang laki ng ngipin mo kaya na-discourage ang mga tao. Pag magkita tayo, patalsikin ko isang ngipin mo.”

Based on the report from Rappler, because of his failed senatorial offer and physical appearance, the President even called him an “intellectual liar”.

Diokno said that one of the cases he found was “inhumane” and it was a summon from the Nation Bureau Of Investigation (NBI).

Also, the President accused Diokno of initiating black propaganda which goes against the government and how he solves and handles COVID-19.
