Top Trending Topic online! The Enhanced Community Quarantine in Negros Occident is possible to be extended due to the rapid cases of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). According to the officials of the provincial government of Negros Occidental, they are now discussing the possibility of extending the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). 

In the interview of DYHB to Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, he stated that many are hoping that the ECQ will not be extended, but the provincial government is waiting for the command of Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19.

The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) starts on March 30, 2020, and ends on April 14, 2020, as per Executive Order 20-2020 signed by the governor. 

Meanwhile, Gov. Lacson said that the provincial government has given more rice to rural areas. The official of the provincial government of Negros Occidental is now discussing the extension of ECQ. Many people are now suffering from this deadly disease (COVID-19). As of April 3, 2020, DOH recorded a total of 2,633 confirmed cases in the Philippines, with 107 death and 51 recovered. 

Worldwide tally, there are 1,016,128 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 211,615 recovered and 53,069 death.
