BREAKING NEWS: 4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Guiuan (Eastern Samar) on April 3, 2020

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded that Magnitude 4.6 Earthquake hits Guiuan (Eastern Samar). The time of impact is 12:27:14 PM on Friday, April 3, 2020.

PHIVOLCS also recorded the location of the quake, 10.64°N, 126.14°E – 063 km S 47° E of Guiuan (Eastern Samar) and the Depth of Focus (Km) is 009. There are no casualties that have been damage.

This is the usual scenario in the Philippines because we are under the Pacific Ring Of Fire where active and dormant volcanoes reside. The red dot represents the epicenter of the earthquake.

Phivolcs warned for possible aftershocks and other incidents that could harm people’s lives.
