The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has made a surprised inspection to conduct a raid to the office of a barangay chairman in Pasay City. This was after the residents of Pasay City reported their corrupt Barangay Chairman that she was only choosing people who she wants to give relief goods.
The complainants said that their chairman was only giving her supporters and voters. They are the only eligible for receiving the relief good and assistance while other tenants and boarders haven’t received anything from her.
After hearing the report, the DILG has immediately conducted a surprise inspection and investigate the allegations.

Based on the video uploaded by Pabatid, it shows that the barangay chairman and DILG officials were discussing about the matter.
According to the lady chairman, she is giving all her constituents and that includes the renters and boarders.
On the previous report, President Duterte said that Barangay officials will be in charge of supplying food to constituents as they country is placed under enhanced community quarantine. The president also warned the corrupt barangay officials that they will face arrest if they fail to provide the aid to their constituents.
