Another doctor had died due to COVID-19 disease.
A cardiologist from the University of Santo Tomas and the Makati Medical Center (MMC), Dr. Roberto “Bobby” Anastacio died on April 10 in the line of duty of fighting against pandemic coronavirus disease.
Makati Medical Center posted on the Facebook page, “We honor health warrior Roberto ‘Bobby’ V. Anastacio, MD, whose oath, commitment, and dedication led him to fight at the COVID-19 frontline.”
Also, the hospital praise the late doctor for his 30 years of medical service.
It stated on the post, “MakatiMed salutes Dr. Bobby and the many other health heroes who poured their hearts and into the medical vocation to the extent of sacrificing their lives so that others may live.”
“His dedication and legacy will continue to serve as an inspiration among us, and his selfless sacrifice shall not be in vain as we all unite as one in fighting this battle.”
