PBA Player CJ Perez Postpones Wedding; Donates P25,000 to Employees OF League’s Game-Day

CJ Perez a Columbian Dyip’s super rookie is set to tie the knot with longtime girlfriend soon. However, instead of pushing through the wedding, CJ Perez decided to just donate P25, 000 to the game-day employees of PBA following the game postponement due to the COVID-19 disease.

Perez said on his Instagram account, “Bigger than the game. Teammates for life. I’m donating P25,000 to our PBA family.”

Together with Perez, Jeffrey Cariaso, Chris Ross, and Cliff Hodge are among PBA personalities who extended help to the game-day employees.

On Wednesday, PBA legend and current Alaska Aces head coach Cariaso has initiated the move. He said he will donate P100,000 to the game-day personnel who are affected by the suspension of the league’s season.

Also, San Miguel’s Ross and Hodge of Meralco has followed the suit. They promised to donate P20,000 each.
