BREAKING NEWS: DOH Reveals 2 Coronavirus Patients “CRITICAL”

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed the two (2) patients positive of coronavirus admitted in Manila are in critical condition.

The Philippine government with the health department are in the full battle alert of containing the spread of the deadly coronavirus disease or COVID-19 which is rapidly increasing in number of affected patients in the country with the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases of spikes as high as to 33 as of writing.

Most of the confirmed patients are in Luzon area in Metro Manila. The DOH has already identified and confirmed the existing of the local transmission to the 5th patient, a 62-year-old man. Based on the health department record, the said patient has no travel history in abroad. Health department also confirmed the wife of the patient with local transmission tested positive of the deadly COVID-19.

In connection to the fight against coronavirus, the government from the Office of the President has declared a “State of Public Health Emergency” to the effort of containing the spread of the virus. Work suspension and class suspension for 5 days were strictly implemented by the government in some particular areas in Metro Manila.

Recently, the DOH Secretary Franciso Duque III release update regarding the coronavirus cases from the patients monitored by the health department. According to the report published by ABS-CBN News, the DOH has confirmed the two (2) patients positive of coronavirus under “critical condition” as of now.

Secretary Duque told reporter that the two (2) patient’s age are more than 60-years old. Report said patients suffers hard breathing and they are assisted by machine intubation.

There was no further information from Secretary Duque about the two patient’s critical condition.

Coronavirus toll in the country alone remained to only one (1) which was recorded to a 44-year-old Chinese national died in San Lazaro Hospital while the patient was under medication.
