JUST IN: Negros Oriental has 4 (PUI) & 13 Persons Under Monitoring (PUM) of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

The province of Negros Oriental currently has four (4) Patients under Investigation and thirteen Persons under Monitoring, source TV Patrol Bacolod (March 11, 2020.)

According to Assistant Provincial Health Officer Dr. Liland Estacion, a 62-year-old PUI man has now been admitted to a private hospital after showing severe symptoms of pneumonia. He is from Metro Manila and visits the Greenhills. In the latest reports, Greenhills mall disinfects amid rises in coronavirus cases (Covid-19.)

The other two PUI are married couples with travel history in Japan. Another PUI is an OFW from Hong Kong. All three were on home quarantine after suffering from mild flu-like symptoms.

Meanwhile, 13 PUMs were under home quarantine. They all have a travel history from across the country.

As of March 11, 2020, the Department of Health announced that there were 33 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines. The latest update of Coronavirus Worldwide, more than 119,217 people have been infected and over 4,299 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, have reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 66,623 recovered from the epidemic disease.
