Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) Episode on June 3, 2017 features Liza Soberano portray the life story of Pia Wurtzbach. Pia learns to be tough at a young age when her father left them. When her parent separates, they decide to moves from Cagayan de Oro to Manila to start over again.

During her school life, Pia was mock on her Bisaya accent and she learns to fight back and defend her sister Sarah. Pia develops a mature mindset because she is the oldest among two siblings. Having no financial resources, Pia joins modeling and acting gigs to earn money to help her family.

She was not lucky on her acting career and has gone on to stardom. Pia feels insignificant to provide financial assistance for the family. At the age of 17, the mother of Pia is going to migrate to U.K. Pia don’t want to go because she still wants to achieve her acting career in the country.

Pia attempts to make a comeback on showbiz industry but not lucky in her favor. Feeling worthless once again, but another doors opens – world of beauty pageants. Pia tries her very best but she was failed to win a Binibining Pilipinas title for two consecutive years.

However, he tries another attempt to clinch the title in 2015; it all pays off as she wins not only Binibining Pilipinas but a most precious title “The Miss Universe 2015”.
