The upcoming three-day event of the Feast of Black Nazarene, expecting that this one of a kind religious event will be having a millions of devotees and tourist participants. On this point, it is highly expected to have a heavy traffic.

January 6, 2016, it was stated with some articles that the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MDTEU) and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has been disclosing that starting to Thursday till the conducting of the procession of the called Traslacion that will be happen this Saturday, the main streets will be block.

The streets that will be occupied by the posession of the replicas will be at the streets of Plaza Miranda through Villalobos St., left to Quezon Blvd., right to CM Recto, right to Loyola St., right to Bilibid Viejo thru Puyat St., left to Guzman St. (Mendoza St.), right to Hidalgo St., left to Barbosa St., right Globo de Oro St., right to Palanca St., right Villalobos St. through Plaza Miranda.

Roads that will be close by 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. cause by the said event are the following:
Southbound lane of Quezon Blvd. (Quiapo), from Andalucia/Fugoso to Plaza Miranda, C.M. Recto/Evangelista and España/P. Campa/Lerma. With these road closures, all vehicles coming from España intending to proceed to Roxas Blvd./South Pier Zone/Taft Ave. shall turn right to P. Campa, straight to Fugoso St. to point of destination.
