The Kapuso star revealed recently that actress Bianca Umali has changed him and is now his best friend.

In an interview with “Updated With Nelson Canlas,” Ruru stated that the actress had done a huge amount for him.

“Siya ‘yong nakapagpabago sa akin.” “My work ethic, hindi ganito before, kung paano ko mahalin ang craft ko, hindi ganito before. Kung gaano ko pinapahalagahan ‘yung mga bagay na meron ako, hindi ako ganito,” Ruru stated.

Ruru did not reveal the true score with both him and Bianca, but he did say that he wanted to enjoy what they had. Regardless of labels, the actor stated that Bianca was his best friend and that she “knows everything.”

Ruru Madrid earlier said that he first saw the actress when he was in Grade 5, but he didn’t meet her until he became an actor himself.

The actor also stated that when he was younger, he favored girls who were older than himself, and it wasn’t until he and the actress collaborated together on “Sunday Pinasaya” that he began to recognize her correctly.

“Nagkausap kami doon. And then one night parang GMA party yata ‘yon, I was there nakapagusap kami nagkaroon kami ng malalim na conversation. I didn’t expect kasi lagi ko siyang nakikita bilang isang nakakabatang kapatid eh,” Ruru stated at the time.

According to GMA News Online, the two moved on a brunch date in April. When Bianca posted a photo at the time, Ruru responded, “Always and forever.”
