The councilor and It’s Showtime host graduated Magna Cum Laude at the age of 46 with a degree in Political Science.

In politics, Hilario chose to run for councilor in Makati’s 1st district in 2016 on the United Nationalist Alliance and Abby Binay’s platform.

Hilario won re-election in 2019 and 2022 after being motivated by his father’s nine-year term as a councilor.

Meanwhile, Jhong Hilario acknowledged his amazing joy in having fulfilled his parents’ long-held dream for him to finish his studies. Arellano University awarded Hilario a degree in Political Science.
