Robi and Maiqui announced they were expecting their first child in January 2026, which also happened to be their second anniversary.

“Two years married… and now our greatest blessing is on the way. Happy 2nd anniversary! We’re ready to give you all our love,” the couple wrote in an Instagram video announcing the news.

The video showed Maiqui taking a pregnancy test in September 2025 and learning she was expecting a child. Additionally, it depicted her breaking the news to Robi and their emotional responses.

Robi posted their baby’s sonogram on Instagram back in March.

In front of friends and family, Robi and Maiqui were married in a church ceremony in January 2024 after becoming engaged in November 2022.

Robi discussed his choice to be married in an interview with Bernadette Sembrano in February 2024, stating that he finally trusted his instincts.

He went on to say that their encounter during the 2022 election campaign was important since it strengthened his affections for Maiqui.

According to Maiqui, she made her choice based on a deep sense of certainty and the conviction that you just know when something is right.
