The architectural community is eagerly awaiting the official release of results for the January 2024 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE). Scheduled to be available online on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, or within three working days after the exam, the results will encompass a comprehensive list of passers, highlight the top 10 achievers (topnotchers), and provide insights into the performance of both individual candidates and educational institutions.

Conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Architecture (BoA), the licensure exam took place across multiple key locations, including Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The two-day examination covered a diverse range of subjects, ranging from the history and theory of architecture to architectural design and site planning, assessing the candidates’ proficiency in various aspects of the field.

EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The comprehensive two-day examination encompassed a range of subjects, including history and theory of architecture, principle of planning and architecture practice, utilities systems, structural conceptualization, and building materials and construction (Day 1). The second day of the exam focused on architectural design and site planning.

RESULTS RELEASE

Following PRC Resolution No. 1728 s. 2023, the expected release date for the Architect board exam results is Wednesday, January 31, 2024, or within three (3) working days post-examination. It’s important to note that results may be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.
