The host of the relaunched Eat Bulaga has denied reports that he had quit from the noontime show.

Buboy stated in a statement on Wednesday that the show’s entertainment portion will continue. He then warned the people not to believe misleading information.

Buboy appeared to be absent from the show’s opening on the same Wednesday. However, he subsequently appeared with a sense of humour, humorously explaining why he was late to join the other host.

“Sorry, Dabarkads, ha. Sumakit lang yung panubigan ko. Sorry, pantog pala.” he joked, emphasizing that the news of his departure were completely false, and reassuring the viewers that they were still going to offer happiness and joy to their supporters.

He highlighted that their entertaining portion will continue undisturbed. Buboy was one of the hosts added on June 5, following the departure of the show’s original hosts and TVJ on May 31, 2023.
