Madonna Latest Health Update After Confined in ICU Due to ‘Serious Bacterial Infection’

The famous singer is presently resting in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following a “serious bacterial infection.”

Guy Oseary, her manager, said in an Instagram post that the famous singer had been admitted to the hospital because of a “serious bacterial infection.”

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU,” the manager said on Instagram. Nonetheless, Guy informed Madonna that her condition continues to improve and that she was going to recover completely in the next days.

Because of the unexpected incident, her concerts had to be rescheduled, specifically her concert tour, which was set to begin on July 15. The “Madonna: The Celebration Tour” commemorates her four-decade music career.
