TV5 apparently desires to offer TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon) the noontime slot now used by Kapamilya’s It’s Showtime.

As a result, It’s Showtime was said to be on its way out, as TVJ would take up the noontime slot.

MVP stated in a recent interview with a source that the block time agreement between Kapatid and the Kapamilya networks will expire on June 30. The move of Eat Bulaga to TV5 will be dependent on TVJ’s readiness to host a show.

The billionaire businessman  also stated that the Kapatid network is committed to offering veteran hosts the noontime slot. If ABS-CBN accepts the offer, It’s Showtime may move to a different time slot.

“Were open to their schedule and we are coordinating with ABS.-CBN I believe that TV5 is committed to TVJ for the noontime slot, so it’s either them or Showtime unless ABS-CBN are willing to move to another time slot which we are prepared to give to them, but it’s up to them not up to us,” MVP stated.
