Airissh Ramos of Eastern Samar, a MUPH 2023 candidate, took first place in the national pageant’s national costume category.
For the crown of Miss Universe Philippines 2023, there are forty candidates. On Saturday, May 13, the gala coronation night will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Five (5) candidates made it to the swimsuit competition at MUPH 2023. The highest number of votes were sent in to Jannarie Zarzoso of Agusan del Norte, Pauline Amelinckx of Bohol, Princess Anne Marcos of Bulacan, Shayne Maquiran of Capiz, and Angelique Manto of Pampanga on the Miss Universe Philippines app.
According to a source, Airissh Ramos of Eastern Samar won the national costume competition, with Joemay Leo of Benguet and Kimberly Escartin of Southern Leyte coming in second and third place.
Ramos, Leo, and Escartin sparkled in their national costumes, which “honored Philippine agriculture in a creative and beautiful way” during the event took place on Thursday, May 4.
