Due to Tropical Depression Amang, some local government units have issued class cancellations for Wednesday (April 12, 2023).
Weather services have been closely monitoring Tropical Depression Amang, triggering precautionary steps in a number of different locations. As a result, educational institutions have chosen to cancel classes on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in order to protect students, professors, and personnel.
Amang, which has been moving through the region, is expected to deliver heavy rains, high gusts, flash floods, and landslides to affected areas. It features maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 60 kilometers per hour.
