Ruffa Gutierrez revealed that she spoke with her ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas, a few hours after the strong quake hit Turkey.

To recall, Ruffa and Yilmaz when  were still married are living in Turkey with their two children, Lorin and Venice. For many years, the mentioned country has been a part of her life.

The world was shocked by earthquake reports on February 6. Turkey was damaged after being struck by a magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

Ruffa Gutierrez was questioned about a previous strong earthquake that occurred in her past home. The actress also said that she was able to speak with Yilmaz Bektas after the earthquake.

“I felt bad. Nakausap ng anak ko yung daddy niya, si Yilmaz. Nakausap ko rin and, at that time, this is a few hours after the earthquake. Sabi niya [Yilmaz], hindi pa niya makontak yung ibang relatives niya,” Ruffa stated.

With this powerful earthquake and its devastating impact, the actress requested prayers.

“Please offer our prayers and condolences to those affected,” she added.
