According to the state weather bureau PAGASA, the northeast monsoon will bring overcast skies with rain to portions of the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issued the most recent weather report in the country on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Amihan will have an effect on the weather in the country.

According to PAGASA, the northeast monsoon, or amihan, will keep bringing cloudy skies and rain to areas of Luzon.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon are expected to experience cloudy weather and rains from the northeast monsoon.

Amihan will also bring rainfall and partly overcast skies to Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the rest of Luzon. The remaining areas of the country will experience similar weather conditions as a result of the localized thunderstorms.

The Weather agency  has issued a warning to the public about the possibility of flash floods or landslides caused by moderate to heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, coastal water conditions will be moderate to rough over extreme Northern Luzon and the country’s eastern region. The rest of the country will have slight to moderate seas.
