According to the state weather bureau PAGASA, the northeast monsoon will bring rain to several areas throughout the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration issued the most recent weather report in the country on Saturday (February 25, 2023). The northeast monsoon and isolated thunderstorms will have an impact on the country’s weather.

According to PAGASA, the northeast monsoon will strike Luzon. Across Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, Amihan will bring cloudy skies and rain.

Across Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, the monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains.

Across Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The weather agency has also recommended individuals in the areas affected take precautions against flash floods or landslides caused by moderate to heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms.
