Kris Aquino paid tribute to her late mother, former President Corazon “Cory” Cojuangco-Aquino, in a public letter on what would have been her 90th birthday, revealing that she had a “50% chance” of having a sixth autoimmune disease.
In a video posted on her Instagram profile on Wednesday, Jan. 25, the actress-TV personality updated her mother and the public on her health, exhibiting the bruises and redness of her skin caused by her condition.
Kris previously discussed her medication and opioid allergies, which would force her to undergo a certain treatment without pain control. Kris had to be sedated while getting the procedure because she could no longer bear the discomfort.
Kris then said that she and her children, Bimby and Josh, were traveling to the “happiest place on Earth” to celebrate Cory’s birthday, a trip she had promised to her eldest son.
Kris, who is presently in California for medical treatment, said earlier this month that she and Bimby will be confined for medical assessment.
