It is rumored that the lead actors of A Faraway Land, Yen Santos and Paolo Contis, are dating.

When the actress earned the Best Actress award at the 45th Gawad Urian Awards for her performance in “A Faraway Land,” she thoughtfully mentioned Contis in her statement.

“And of course, to my leading man Paolo Contis — sobrang talented, napakagaling na artista. Maraming maraming salamat sa iyo. I’ll always be your number one fan,” she stated.

Now, as a result of the rumors, the couple not only faced criticism but also received d3@th thre@ts.

Paolo said he was used to receiving the criticism and insulting remarks. D3@th thre@ts and other negative remarks were much worse than this for him.

Paolo refers to the remarks that include “sana ma-m**rder” and hope for their passing away: “Sino ngayon sa amin ang mas nagkakasala? Ever since naman never ko pinapansin ang mga bashers.”
