In the action film “Bullet Train,” Hollywood actor Brad Pitt battles assassins on a fast train across Japan while reconciling with his old stuntman turned director, David Leitch.

Pitt plays Ladybug, an unfortunate assassin who wants to finish a job properly before he finds himself fighting a variety of frightening foes on board the bullet train, many of whom have goals related to his.

Additionally starring Sandra Bullock, Zazie Beetz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, and Hiroyuki Sanada, the movie is based on the 2010 novel by Kotaro Isaka.

“Dave actually was my stunt man in [1998]… We met on ‘Fight Club’ and he trained me for the fight and it worked so well,” Pitt spoke about Leitch on Tuesday during a news conference in Berlin. “We went on with that pairing till about [2004] with a bunch of other films, and then he left me to do other things, and now it’s come back full circle so it’s really nice for me to have him as the boss now.”

The assassins all want to get their hands on a briefcase, which leads to several stunts and battle sequences in the movie.

David Leitch, the director of “Atomic Blonde,” “Deadpool 2,” and “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” stated that he aimed to balance the humour in the film with violence.

Prior to its global premiere in early August, the cast and crew of the movie are promoting “Bullet Train” around Europe this week.
