Some Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries keep hoping that they’ll never be among the 1.3 million people removed from the list by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Besides this, other applicants hope to be one of those who will be replaced.

According to Darlene Cay’s report in First News on Wednesday, DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo’s comment that up to 1.3 million of the total 4.4 million 4Ps members are no longer poor.

A goal must be known to be difficult enough to be a subsidiary of 4Ps in order to be allowed to apply.

According to the DSWD, some program participants will graduate when they can stand on their own two feet or when their kids finish school.

Secretary Tulfo also stated that the P15-B savings fund can be distributed to genuine and qualified recipients.

He stated that the DSWD will issue an amnesty call to unqualified 4Ps beneficiaries next week to give up their account information.
