The priest confessed to becoming “distracted” during serving at the wedding of Maine Mendoza’s sister, who participated as maid of honor.

Coleen married her long-term partner, Mike Cruz, in Barasoain Church on May 21, 2022.

The wedding was blessed by the Reverend Father Joseph Fidel Roura, the present parish priest of the Quasi-Parish of Our Lady of La Salette in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

Roura is a famous social media influencer-vlogger recognized for his motivational memes and “tagos sa pusong” gospels and homilies. In the 2020 Catholic Social Media Awards, he was named Male Social Media Influencer of the Year.

On his YouTube channel, “Three Nails and a Crown,” where he shares his reflections and mass sermons, he has over 426,000 followers.

On May 27, he made a post regarding Coleen’s wedding. Maine Mendoza, the wedding’s maid of honor, was obviously the subject of the post.

“Napakarami ko nang ikinasal, pero ngayon lang ako nadistract sa maid of honor. Iba din kasi talaga ang appeal ni Maine Mendoza,” the priest stated.

It was followed with a happy emoji and a peace sign, showing that it was all in good fun.
