“Russia has strategically lost already,” UK Military Chief stated at Britain’s domestic Press Association news agency. “NATO is stronger, and Finland and Sweden are looking to join.” In an interview released on Friday, the UK’s chief of military staff stated that Russia had already “strategically lost” its war against Ukraine, incurring huge losses and strengthening NATO.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Radakin, may score “tactical successes” in the next weeks, but he has lost a fifth of his country’s army might for “small” advances and is running out of troops and high-tech weapons.

“The Russian machine is grinding away, and it’s gaining a couple of — 2, 3, 5 — kilometers every day,” the admiral said.

“And Russia has vulnerabilities because it’s running out of people, it’s running out of high-tech missiles.

“President Putin has used about 25 percent of his army’s power to gain a tiny amount of territory and 50,000 people either dead or injured.

“Russia is failing.”

Radakin praised the “courageous” Ukrainian people and promised that the UK will provide additional weaponry to Kyiv “for the long haul.”

“We’ve been providing anti-tank weapons. There are other elements that we’re providing and that will continue,” he added.
