Iglesia ni Cristo members chastised several Kakampinks after they were seen on tape singing for the Leni-Kiko duo in front of their church.
The religious group Iglesia ni Cristo, or INC, sponsored presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential aspirant Sara Duterte only days before the May 9 elections.
However, certain Robredo-Pangilinan supporters, known as Kakampinks, were opposed to INC’s endorsement.
Nelski Duran, a netizen, recently turned to social media and uploaded images of Kakampinks in front of an INC church.
“Buong galang at maluwag na tinanggap ng Pamamahala ng Iglesia Ni Cristo si VP Leni Robredo sa aming tanggapan. Ngunit bakit kailangang humantong sa ganitong pangyayari? Nakakahapis ng damdamin,” Duran stated.
A tarpaulin of Robredo may be seen in other image being placed in front of an INC church.
Furthermore, several Kakampinks can be heard shouting in front of a church in the video.
They were chanting Gab Valenciano’s campaign jingle.
However, some members of Iglesia ni Cristo were not pleased with the Kakampinks’ actions.
Anyone who interrupts with religious worship is against the law, and the guilty party may face punishment.
INC’s administration has yet to publish a statement regarding the participation of certain Kakampinks.
Meanwhile, the elections for May 9, 2022 begin today.
