On April 5, the suspect in the attempted r@pe of a lady with a handicap (PWD) was discovered dead in Barangay Pasong Buaya in Imus, Cavite.

Three tanods from Barangay Salitran III in Dasmarias, Cavite, were the suspects in the k!lling, according to Emil Sumangil’s report on Super Radyo dzBB on Tuesday. Jovi Monis, 37, was recognized as one of the suspects by the Philippine National Police in Imus Cavite. According to the inquiry, the victim’s body was discovered tied up with a gunshot wound to the face. According to CCTV video, Monis and his two buddies drove up to the crime site in a Barangay Salitran III car.

Monis declined to respond, while the other two barangay tanods denied murder!ng anybody.

However, the two are now being held by police and will testify against Monis.

GMA News reached out to the chairman of Barangay Salitran III for comment, but he had yet to respond as of the time of publication.
