According to a CIDG official, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) will submit a complaint against eight suspects in the disappearances of cockfight aficionados on Friday. Lieutenant Colonel Marissa Bruno, a police spokesman, stated that their organization is planning to submit the case.

“Pinaghahandaan ng CIDG ang pagsasampa ng kaso laban po sa walong suspects itong darating na  Biyernes (The CIDG is preparing for the filing of cases against eight suspects this coming Friday),” she stated.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) said on March 9 that abduction and serious unlawful detention accusations will be filed against six security workers in connection with the disappearances at the Manila Arena. On March 4, the CIDG said that a witness had identified six suspects in the disappearances of cockfight aficionados in Manila.
