The Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) or what we call the Artificial Sun is going five times hotter than the real sun.

The main goal of producing the “Artificial Sun” device is to provide near-infinite clean energy by reproducing natural cycles in stars.

During the experiments, the artificial sun reaches 70,000,000C according to the Xinhua News Agency.

“The latest operation creates a solid scientific and experimental foundation for the functioning of a fusion reactor,” Gong Xianzu, a fusion reactor expert, stated.

The experiment cost more than £700bn, the EAST project will run until June

Once the (ITER) or The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor will be completed, it will become the world’s largest reactor.

As part of its “green industrial revolution,” the UK is also aiming to build a nuclear fusion power station, with a shortlist of five sites unveiled last month.

The Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production (STEP) project seeks to complete a concept design by 2024 and supply electricity to people’s homes by the 2040s.

The reactor team from China will provide technical support on megaproject that is now being constructed in Marseille, France.
