Errol Spence Jr. has withdrawn from the Aug. 21 fight with Manny Pacquiao due to a torn retina in his eye. Pacquiao is now scheduled to fight Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight title. Yordenis Ugas will step up to replace Spence and will defend his WBA title against Pacquiao on August 21, 2021.

Manny Pacquiao is pulling for Errol Spence Jr. to make a full recovery. Pacquiao tweets, “I pray for a full and complete recovery for @ErrolSpenceJr.”

Now Pacquiao has to fight for the belt that he never should have been stripped of in the first place.

Manny Pacquiao is seen training on Monday at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California.
