Masbate was visited again by the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that was felt in neighboring areas and the quake causes a lot of damages and injuries in several parts of the province.

During the earthquake, the actual moving of the river was captured by Jason Satuito and shared on social media. The short video clip shows the river disturbance due to the earthquake of 6.6 magnitude. The waters were slammed to one side then back and forth that seems to be as tsunami is approaching the shore. But in this case it is just a moderate movement but enough to make you fear while watching it.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the strong tremors can be felt within five kilometers away in the southwest part of Cataingan town at around 8:01am.

The earthquake causes roads collapse, buildings destroyed and injuries to some residents in the area.

Calamity like this is not only happening in the Philippines, it is also happening in some other country without advance information to know or showing signs to predict the incident in order the people to prepare the possible calamity.
