Kapamilya’s iconic singer Gary Valenciano’s has a message to President Duterte amid the COVID-19.

Valenciano’s statement for the President has received various reactions from netizens. He had chosen to express his prayers for the President instead of criticizing him. Also, the singer shared his opinion through his recent Twitter post.

Netizens reacted on the singer’s Twitter post, here are some;

Lou A. Melendrez: True. Opinions never really matter that much. It’ll never change our current condition. Prayers, that matters more than anything. Prayers!

Avenger: True. We all need to pray for our leaders, bashing won’t help. Instead, let us pray w/o ceasing.

Jassy Angeli: May our beloved President come out victorious in this war against coronavirus and bringing us with him. He’s so tired already. I feel him every time he speaks. He loves his country so much.

On the other hand, the President has donated his salary for a month to support the government in the fight against coronavirus 2019.

In addition, some members of the cabinet have also donated 75% of their salary as well.

As of today, April 07, Tuesday, the President has been approved the extension of Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine valid until April 30.

Currently, the Philippines has recorded 3,660 cases of COVID-19 and 163 fatalities. And with a total of more than 1.31 million cases have been recorded worldwide.
