Singer and host Martin Nievera interviewed the boxing legend and a Senator in the Philippines Manny Pacquiao on the ANC Conversations. The Senator had cried during the interview as he had recalled his past when he has nothing.

One of the topics they tackled was about Pacquiao’s humble beginnings. Pacquiao had narrated what he has experienced when he was young. He said that he experienced to not eat for the whole day due to extreme poverty.

As the Senator recalled his sad past, he shed some tears as how some wealthy people had rejected, discarded, and got disgusted him just because he was poor and dirty.

The people’s champ said, “Masakit yung loob ko kasi may mga tao na mas gusto nila na mamatay yung tao kaysa magastos nila pera nila”.

“Naranasan ko na rin yung ipagtabuyan ako ng mayayaman. Pandirian ka kasi mabaho ka,” Pacquiao told Nievera.
