A total of 3,246 people filed for COVID-19 in the Philippines after confirmed 152 new cases of COVID-19 or coronavirus in the Philippines. The death toll has risen to 152 following 8 new deaths, while 7 have been cured for a total of 64, according to the DOH. 

Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao decided to enforce an enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Everyone is advised to stay at home to curb the spread of the disease and some selected people in one family can go out to buy some foods and needs in 14th-day lockdown. 

In GMA news reports, DOH reports 152 new COVID-19 cases, 8 new deaths, and 7 new recoveries. This brings the totals to 3,246 confirmed cases, 152 deaths, and 64 recoveries as of 4 pm today, April 5. 

Government officials have yet to decide whether to extend the Central lockdown – which is set to expire on April 12 – implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
