La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Manguilimutan Placed Extreme Community Quarantine of Barangay Nato

La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Manguilimutan issued Executive Order to place extreme community quarantine affecting the entire Barangay Nato of the said municipality.

The Executive Order was ordered by the La Castellana Mayor Manguilimutan after learning that one resident of Brgy. Nato was tested positive of COVID-19.

According to the Manguilimutan the patient was coming from Iloilo City and went back home after his 14-day quarantine lasted on March 29, 2020. But on April 5, the patient reportedly having a fever and LBM.

It was on April 11 that the patient informs health authorities about his condition 3 days after test result of his couple employers who are positive of COVID-19.

The Executive Order closes all the entry points of the area to controls going out and coming in the municipality. This also stops the operation of Tricycle and Trisikad in all barangays.

The PNP also intensifies the Enhance Community Quarantine in the area.

Recently, the Health Office sends 50 testing kits to La Castellana to be used for testing to suspected people in the area.
