JUST IN: Filipino Nurse Alvin Pascual Dies of Coronavirus Disease

Filipino nurse died of the coronavirus disease.

The Philippines is one of the countries in the word that suffers COVID-19 pandemic. As of writing, the country record 2,311 total confirmed cases and death toll 96.

Medical professionals including nurses are not exception as they are set to be the country’s frontliners to combat against COVID-19 pandemic. At least twelve (12) doctors died from the coronavirus disease.

Recently, another frontliner, a Filipino nurse identified as Alvin Pascual died of the said disease.

His death confirmed by Philippine Nurses Association president Erlinda Castro-Palaganas in an interview with ABS-CBN News. Pagalanas told report that the 44-year-old give up his last breath due to severe bronchopneumonia”, a complication cause by the COVID-19.

The late nursing professional Alvin Pascual worked in Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center in Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija.

The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) salute and respect Alvin as one of the frontliner real life hero.
