DOH Recorded 3,764 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases as of April 8, 2020

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 106 new cases of COVID-19 or coronavirus in the Philippines. The total number of cases in the country is now at 3870. DOH also reports 12 additional recoveries which bring the total number of recoveries to 96. And 5 new deaths due to coronavirus in the Philippines, raising the death toll to 182. Overall total, 3, 870 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 96 recoveries, and 182 deaths as of April 8, 2020. (Source ABS-CBN NEWS)

In Global tally of COVID-19, 1,430,453 million people infected with COVID-19, 301,385 have been recovered, and 82,133 death tolls of the Coronavirus.

Coronavirus disease was first recorded in China where it prompted authorities to lock down Wuhan due to its outbreak. In the Philippines, local government units are now decided to enforce an enhanced community quarantine. 

In this video, he has indicated the plan of extending the lockdown up to the 30th day of April this month.

Everyone is advised to stay at home to curb the spread of the disease and some selected people in one family can go out to buy some foods and needs in the house.
